It’s the day before 9/11, and our team of volunteers is preparing for tomorrow’s day of patching, painting and organizing! This year, we are working with Heart House, a fantastic organization that supports refugee and underprivileged children in the Vickery Meadow neighborhood. The Heart House staff are incredible-dedicated, upbeat and amazing folks that are devoted to giving local children a haven for learning and fun.
The InSource Group has worked with Communities Foundation and Entrepreneurs For North Texas (EFNT) for a number of years. Our shared goal is to make this difficult day mean something that speaks to the best aspects of our people and our country, while honoring those who serve our country and those who lost their lives in the attacks upon us.
Brett Schaefer, an InSource executive, has led the charge for the last several years through his work on the steering committee for this project, as well as by his example of hard work and helping those around him. He is supported by a strong cast of our staff, as well as the wonderful people at Communities Foundation and EFNT.
Stay tuned to see what we accomplish tomorrow, working at Heart House.
