This role is focused on new product development for a start-up.
Our client is hiring a highly motivated Google Cloud Engineer to play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and management of their cloud-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This position requires an understanding of cloud architecture and Google Cloud services to develop scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that meet business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement effective cloud solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications in Google Cloud Platform are highly desirable (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Professional Cloud Developer).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
